Walk for Hope 2026 – 5K Community Fundraising Walkathon

Together, We Can Make a Difference

Join us for Walk for Hope 2026, a community fundraising walkathon hosted by Pretty in Pink, dedicated to raising awareness about child abuse and supporting initiatives that protect vulnerable children in Sri Lanka’s Northern Province.

This event is inspired by and supports the important work being carried out by Roshan Mahanama and the College of Pediatricians to improve the lives of children and families in need.

Why We Walk

Every child deserves a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Walk for Hope 2026 aims to:

• Raise awareness about child abuse and child protection issues.
• Educate communities about the importance of safeguarding children.
• Support projects benefiting children and families in Sri Lanka’s Northern Province.
• Encourage community involvement and social responsibility.
• Inspire collective action to create safer futures for vulnerable children.

Registration

Registration Fee: $25 per participant

Children under 12 participate free

Your registration helps support child-focused projects and community development initiatives in Sri Lanka’s Northern Province.

What Participants Receive

Each registered participant will receive:

• Entry to the 5K Walkathon
• Refreshments and water
• Access to community activities and awareness sessions
• Opportunity to support an important cause and make a lasting impact

Additional Information

• The walk will take place entirely within Morningside Park.
• Water stations and first aid support will be available throughout the event.
• Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
• Proceeds will support child protection and family assistance initiatives in Sri Lanka’s Northern Province.
• Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations.
• Volunteers are welcome to assist with event operations and event-day activities.
